Support Marin City
We welcome the contributions of pubic agencies, non-profit foundations, and private individuals. Your contributions of funding or volunteer time will help to support programs for multi-generational programs and services here in Marin City as well as our plans to redevelop our property in order to better serve the community. The Marin City Community Services District (MCCSD) and the Sausalito Marin City School District (SMCSD) are exploring opportunities for jointly raising funding to build the Marin City Center project. This exciting project incorporates the community center complex and the middle school complex into one new integrated and dynamic heart for our community. Preliminary cost estimates for the combined project are between $30 million and $52 million.
The Community Center Complex is estimated between $30 million and $40 million. The current estimates for the new school complex are between $10 million and $12 million. Approximately $10 million in school bond financing has already been raised for the School District's redevelopment project.
